The answer is yes, but not in the way you might expect. You will want to contact your local dealership and see if they offer this service. If not, then keep on reading this article.

Do Car Dealerships Rent Cars

Yes, but not all dealerships offer car rentals. You will want to contact your local dealership and see if they offer car rentals.

Most car dealerships do not provide car rentals for short-term use (ie: daily). Local dealerships however specialize in both long-term usage AND also include ‘Try Before You Buy’ programs so customers can sample out different models they’re interested in without having to pay the full price upfront.

Dealerships will often offer a lease agreement for the duration of your rental. With lease options and rental agreements, the value of a vehicle is higher than other purchase methods. Leasing offers more to consumers in terms of flexibility while still remaining attractive due to lower financing costs over time.

Lease-to-own programs are becoming increasingly popular these days because they allow you greater freedom with your finances by renting out cars rather than buying one outright every few years when gas prices go up or down drastically depending on where people live throughout America’s varying climates. Not only do leases offer many benefits over standard car purchases like no long-term debt obligation but also offer far better resale values should you need another vehicle after yours expires at the end date.

What Are The Benefits Of Renting A Car From A Dealership

Dealerships that offer rental services to their customers and other people in the community often have very affordable rates. The cost isn’t brought up by additional fees like at a retail location, since these are all covered in service fees.

Many times customers will be given a complimentary rental for as long as they need it if they have to leave their car with the dealership for service, usually up to three days depending on what issues there are and how long repairs take. This often helps out people who don’t want to pay high prices at a retail location or worry about time constraints that may be involved.

In some cases, people have been given a rental for the day when they need it so they can come back to pick up their car at night or on the weekend. This is often done if there isn’t enough time in the evening to complete an oil change or other service before closing hours and customers don’t want to take the car back out.

The dealerships also rent cars to people who are looking for a deal on an expensive model but want it immediately, even if they have no credit history or bad credit. This can be done by using subprime lenders which are companies that specialize in lending money to people with less-than-perfect scores. Other customers that use this service are people who want to be able to drive the cars they’re selling, even if it’s just for a few days.

The customer service at car dealerships is guaranteed to be better than your local rental agency because they have their own staff members who oversee the rentals from beginning to end.

What else?

You can get all of your automotive needs met under one roof. Dealerships offer everything from servicing and repairs to rental cars, delivery services for those who need it most (especially if they’re flying out that day), drop-offs at airports just before boarding time begins – even picking customers up as soon as they exit customs.

Which Dealerships Offer Car Rentals?

Car dealerships are often independently-owned, so the policies at each location vary. However, there is a large number of car brands that offer rentals including some with minimum age requirements as low as 18 or 21 years old which means you can rent from multiple locations without having to be an experienced driver.

Here are 11 brands (and car dealerships) that will allow you to rent a car:
